DeliFarma · At-home vaccines

We vaccinate you at home. And your whole team, at your company.

You choose your vaccine, pay online and pick the day. We come to your home and give it to you. The vaccine stays cold the whole way and a certified nurse gives it. It comes from our pharmacy, which is licensed by the government to sell vaccines: Health Operating License 15 037 09 0563, issued by the Instituto de Salud del Estado de México.

Some countries ask for proof of vaccination to let you in. Others don’t, but the risk is there all the same. Almost all of these vaccines take 10 days to a month to work. So check this when you buy the flight, not the week of the trip.

International Certificate of Vaccination — the yellow card.

You leave with your yellow card in hand

In several countries being vaccinated isn’t enough: they ask for the paper that proves it, at immigration. That paper is the International Certificate of Vaccination and only an authorized centre can issue it. We are one: we vaccinate you and you take it with you the same day.

The yellow fever vaccine is valid from 10 days after it is given, and protects you for life. Get it as soon as you have dates, not the week of the flight.

Choose where you are going

Tropical South America

Several of these countries ask for the yellow fever certificate at the border. And if you come from here, other countries may ask for it too.

What you need for this trip

  • Yellow feverValid from 10 days after, and for lifeMay be required
  • Hepatitis ASpread through water and foodRecommended
  • TyphoidIf you go to the countryside or eat outside the hotelRecommended
  • Measles, mumps and rubellaMMR. If you don't have two doses on recordCheck it
  • Tetanus, diphtheria and whooping coughIf your last booster is more than 10 years oldUp to date

Start a month ahead. Yellow fever only counts from 10 days after it is given, and hepatitis A is two doses.

Sub-Saharan Africa

The destination that asks for the most vaccines. In much of the region they require yellow fever to enter.

What you need for this trip

  • Yellow feverValid from 10 days after, and for lifeMay be required
  • MeningococcusTypes A, C, Y and W-135. The “meningitis belt” runs through hereRecommended
  • Hepatitis A and hepatitis BCan be given together, in one vaccineRecommended
  • TyphoidThrough water and foodRecommended
  • RabiesBefore the trip, if you will be near animals or far from a hospitalDepends on what you do

Start six weeks ahead. The rabies vaccine is several doses weeks apart. And in much of the region you also need malaria pills, which are not a vaccine: a doctor prescribes them.

South and Southeast Asia

They hardly ever ask for anything at the border, but it is where people get sick the most: from the water, the food and the animals in the street.

What you need for this trip

  • Hepatitis A and hepatitis BOne vaccine covers bothRecommended
  • TyphoidEspecially in India, Nepal and BangladeshRecommended
  • RabiesBefore the trip: there are dogs and monkeys in tourist areasRecommended
  • Measles, mumps and rubellaMMR. If you don't have two doses on recordCheck it
  • Yellow feverOnly if you arrive from a country with transmissionDepends on your route

Start six weeks ahead if you will get the rabies one. If your flight stops over in South America or Africa, let us know: it changes what they ask for on arrival.

Central America and the Caribbean

It is the most common trip and the least prepared for, because it feels close.

What you need for this trip

  • Hepatitis AThrough water and foodRecommended
  • Typhoid feverIf you leave the hotel and eat on the streetRecommended
  • Tetanus, diphtheria and whooping coughIf your last booster is more than 10 years oldUp to date
  • Influenza and COVID-19This year's, if you travel by plane or cruiseUp to date

Two weeks is enough for the essentials of this destination.

Middle East and Mecca

The only place where a vaccine is a visa requirement: the pilgrimage to Mecca.

What you need for this trip

  • MeningococcusTypes A, C, Y and W-135. Saudi Arabia requires the certificate to issue the Hajj and Umrah visaRequired for the Hajj
  • Hepatitis AThrough water and foodRecommended
  • InfluenzaThis year's. At the pilgrimage there are millions of people in one placeRecommended
  • Tetanus, diphtheria and whooping coughIf your last booster is more than 10 years oldUp to date

If you are going on the Hajj or Umrah, start as soon as you have dates: the meningococcal vaccine is asked for when you apply for the visa, so it comes before the application, not before the flight.

Europe, North America, Japan and Oceania

Nothing is required to enter. It is the trip people use to catch up on what they had pending.

What you need for this trip

  • Measles, mumps and rubellaMMR. There have been outbreaks in Europe and North America. If you don't have two doses on record, check itCheck it
  • Tetanus, diphtheria and whooping coughThe booster is every 10 years and almost nobody remembersUp to date
  • Influenza and COVID-19This year's, especially if you fly in winterUp to date
  • Hepatitis AIf you're backpacking or staying at a hostelDepends on the trip

Two weeks is enough. If the trip is long or for work, we review all your adult vaccines in one visit.

Cruise

A ship is many people in a small space. What spreads is flu and diarrhoea, not rare diseases.

What you need for this trip

  • InfluenzaThis year'sRecommended
  • COVID-19This year's. Some cruise lines require itRecommended
  • Hepatitis AThrough water and food at the portsRecommended
  • Whatever the ports requireIf the cruise calls at South America or Africa, it counts as those destinationsDepends on the route

Send us the itinerary. What counts is not where the ship departs from, but which ports it calls at.

Fieldwork or jungle

Here the country doesn't matter. What matters is what you will do and how far you will be from a hospital.

What you need for this trip

  • RabiesBefore the trip. If you get bitten you still need treatment, but it buys you time to reach itRecommended
  • Yellow feverIf you will work in the jungle in South America or AfricaMay be required
  • TyphoidThrough water and food outside the cityRecommended
  • Tetanus, diphtheria and whooping coughCuts and injuries in the field are the most common riskUp to date

If it is your company's staff, it is quoted as a program and we send an on-site team to the company before they leave.

This is a guide. It does not replace a doctor: our team confirms what you need based on your destination, your dates, your record and your health. Each country decides what it requires to enter, and that changes with outbreaks: confirm it with its embassy or consulate before you travel.

Still not sure which one you need? Book a visit and our medical team reviews it with you, record in hand.

This guide follows Mexico’s National Immunization Schedule. It does not replace a doctor: before giving a vaccine, our team confirms which dose you need based on your age, your record and your health. Some vaccines depend on the season; when you book we confirm availability.

The digital immunization record

Your immunization record lives on your phone.

Every vaccine we give you goes in the Delihealth’s App with its certificate. See it whenever you want and show it wherever it is asked for.

  • The whole family on one screen Your record, your children’s and your parents’: every vaccine with its status — current, due or pending.
  • Certificate with QR code Every vaccine has its folio and a QR code. Scanning it shows who gave it, when and from which lot.
  • Share it or save it as a PDF You can send the certificate to whoever asks for it, and anyone can check it by scanning the QR.
  • Have a paper record? Take a photo from the app and we add it to your history.
“My record” screen in the Delihealth’s App: the family's vaccines with their status — current, due or pending. Certificate for an influenza vaccine administered by Delihealth’s, with a verifiable reference number and QR code.

International verification

Recognized by Apple. Issued by us.

Every vaccine carries a digital signature called a SMART Health Card. It is the same format used by pharmacies, airlines and hospitals in the United States and other countries. On iPhone, the Health app reads it on its own. On any other phone, it is checked by scanning the code.

  • Its own digital signature Nobody else has to confirm it: the signature proves it on its own.
  • It saves to Apple Wallet On iPhone, protected with Face ID or Touch ID.
  • Checked on any phone No internet, and without showing the rest of your history.

Quality and origin

A cold vaccine is a vaccine that works.

A vaccine only works if it was stored properly. That is why ours is monitored from the lab to your arm:

  1. From the manufacturer Vaccines from GSK, Sanofi Pasteur, Pfizer and MSD. We know which lot each one comes from.
  2. Licensed pharmacy We hold Health Operating License 15 037 09 0563 from the Instituto de Salud del Estado de México. It authorizes us to sell vaccines, blood derivatives and sera, with no expiry date (art. 370 of the General Health Law).
  3. Travels cold It stays at the right temperature all the way to your home or your company. A device logs the temperature the whole way.
  4. Given by certified staff Trained nurses give it as the standard requires (NOM-036-SSA2-2012) and record it in your electronic health record (NOM-024-SSA3-2012).

Clinic protocols · For your company

Every dose, traceable.
Every event, handled.
Every sharp, documented.

A vaccination campaign concentrates three risks that are not visible on the day of the clinic: loss of the cold chain, an adverse reaction without immediate care, and sharps waste left on your premises. Grupo Médico Delihealth’s answers for all three and issues documentary evidence of each one.

Cold chain

  • A data logger on every shipment The device records temperature automatically and continuously throughout the journey, with no action required from staff.
  • 2 to 8 °C, from origin to administration From the refrigerator in our pharmacy to administration to the employee. Any deviation from the range is logged.
  • If there is a deviation, the lot is not administered The lot is isolated, documented and replaced. The corresponding record is filed and can be verified.
A member of the Delihealth’s clinical team, in scrubs and with a stethoscope.

Adverse events

  • An observation period after every dose Each employee stays under observation for a few minutes before returning to their duties. That is the window in which most reactions appear, and the team remains on site until it is complete.
  • An anaphylaxis kit at every clinic Complete, in date and with a check log. It travels with the team, it is verified before every departure and the nursing staff are trained to use it.
  • Every event is treated, recorded and reported It is called an AEFI — adverse event following immunization — and it covers any manifestation after a dose. Most are mild and resolve on their own. The report your company receives states whether there were events and how they were handled, without identifying any employee.
A rigid red sharps container, labelled for hazardous biological-infectious waste and marked with the biohazard symbol.

Sharps waste

  • Immediate disposal at the point of administration A rigid red container, single-use and sealed at 80% of capacity, as the standard requires. The sharp is never left exposed.
  • The waste leaves the same day It is removed with the team at the close of the clinic. It does not stay on your premises, it is not mixed with your general waste and it is not recorded in your company’s name.
  • Authorized collection and final disposal Handled by an authorized company, with a manifest of delivery, transport and receipt.

At the close of the clinic, your company receives three documentary records: how the biologic was stored, how administration went and the final destination of the waste.

Storage, transport, administration and event management in accordance with NOM-036-SSA2-2012. Handling, collection and final disposal of sharps waste in accordance with NOM-087-ECOL-SSA1-2002.
